We covered the roof with three-tab shingles. We chose a color close to the color of the cedar trees that surround the area.
The roof is approximately 650 square feet. It will require about 20 bundles of shingles to cover it.
We built a scaffold to stand on while installing the roof shingles.
This pictures shows the second floor wall framed up to accept a 36"x 36" window.
I was able to buy the window as odds and ends left overs from a local window manufacturer.
